Terms of Service (User Agreement)
The agreement between OjaLinks and every user of the platform.
Summary (Plain English)
OjaLinks connects users with verified service providers. OjaLinks is a marketplace and intermediary, not the service provider. The contract for a job is between the user and vendor directly.
1. Introduction and Acceptance
By accessing, registering on or using OjaLinks, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Who We Are
OjaLinks connects individuals and businesses with verified independent service providers across Lagos and Abuja. OjaLinks facilitates connections and does not employ vendors or supervise service delivery.
3. User Eligibility
Registered users must be at least 18, reside in or seek services within Lagos State or the FCT, provide accurate information, have a valid Nigerian phone number for OTP verification and not be previously suspended or banned.
4. User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate information, use the Job Code honestly, pay vendors as arranged directly, treat vendors respectfully, avoid false or malicious reviews, avoid circumventing platform processes, and report suspected fraud.
5. OjaLinks’s Role and Limitations
Vendor verification includes identity checks, reference calls and skills assessments, but OjaLinks does not guarantee the quality, safety, timeliness, legality or outcome of a vendor service.
6. Health & Care Services
Health providers are subject to relevant professional registration checks. OjaLinks is not a healthcare provider or emergency service and users are advised to independently confirm practitioner credentials.
7. Financial Services — Mobile POS
OjaLinks verifies the identity and CAC registration of Mobile POS operators but is not a financial services provider and accepts no liability for financial losses arising from POS transactions.
8. The Job Code System
When a vendor accepts an enquiry, a unique Job Code is delivered to the user by SMS and email. The user should not share it until fully satisfied that the work is complete.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, OjaLinks limits its aggregate liability to ₦50,000 or the total fees paid to OjaLinks in the preceding twelve months, whichever is lower, subject to applicable law.
10. Indemnification
Users agree to indemnify and hold OjaLinks harmless from claims, losses and costs arising from platform use, vendor interactions, Terms violations or infringement of third-party rights.
11. Reviews and Ratings
Reviews may only be submitted after confirmed job completion and may be removed where they are false, abusive, defamatory or otherwise in breach of the Terms.
12. Account Suspension and Termination
OjaLinks may suspend or terminate accounts for fraud, abuse, false information, false reviews or conduct harmful to the platform. Users may close accounts by contacting OjaLinks.
13. Intellectual Property
The OjaLinks name, logo, design, text, graphics and functionality are OjaLinks intellectual property and may not be reproduced without permission.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
The Terms are governed by Nigerian law. Disputes first proceed through good-faith negotiation, then mediation, and ultimately the courts of Lagos State if unresolved.
15. Changes to Terms
OjaLinks may update these Terms and will notify users of material changes by email or in-platform notification.
